A professional jewelry designer since 1975, I established my own company, Vanderleur Designs, in 1981. I sold my beaded jewelry at craft shows and stores throughout the northeast for 18 years. As my jewelry showcased beautiful lampwork and art glass beads from around the world, I accumulated a magnificent collection of components. As a result in 1999 I settled down to sell them on the internet.

Greatglassbeads was established in 1999, when I began selling these unique, detailed loose beads to other designers internationally through this website and Ebay. Today I continue to hand-select my stock from Czech, Italian, Japanese and Chinese importers, always keeping quality and consistency a number one priority. In 2008 thebeadgoddess on Etsy and www.tenshabeads.com were established as additional internet sales venues. I keep very busy!
